EQUISHOX – 2023 YEAR END REVIEW
Instrumental Strides: 2023 a Pivotal Year for Equishox Advancements
Two years after commencing the design and prototyping stage of EQUISHOX, we received our first production prototypes in mid-October 2023.
Following this milestone, we initiated efforts to share the EQUISHOX story globally. Presentations on EQUISHOX took us to visit some of the largest bloodstock enterprises, prominent owners, distinguished trainers, and top farriers.
We obtained approval from the BHA, IHRB and the NSA (National Steeplechase Association) and are currently in discussions for approval with authorities in France, Australia, and the USA.
As of today, (30) owners, trainers, pre-trainers, and farriers have the EQUISHOX shoes on test. The feedback received thus far regarding horse welfare, injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, wear rate, and performance improvement has been truly remarkable

Testimonials
“Alan King Racing have been using Equishox racing plates since late September this year on several horses.
We have had good results with horses that have knocked joints in the past, one being Grandeur D’Ame. The shoe aloud his joints to settle giving us a smoother time during training and resulting him winning first time out at Wetherby on the 18/11/23 by 25 lengths, he also ran a blinder at Cheltenham in the December Gold Cup 16/12/23 finishing 4th . A similar story could be said for another young horse who finished 2nd on his debut in a Bumper.
Alan King Racing would recommend the use of Equishox shoes and have seen first-hand the welfare benefits from a striking point of view and greater stability. We also look forward to the benefits of the shoe when the ground quickens up on the flat and summer jumping.”

“Sunday Soldier sustained a nasty wound to her fetlock in her last race at the end of August and needed some time off to recover. She came back into work and although she wasn’t lame, she just wasn’t moving very well. A month ago, we decided to give Equishox a try and have been very impressed with the results. Sunday Soldier is enthusiastic in her work, moving better than ever and had her first run back since her injury, where she won comfortably by a margin of seven lengths. She’ll definitely stay in the Equishox shoes; the impact absorption factor has clearly helped her to move more freely at home, and the improvement in her racing performance when she won at Musselburgh is testament to that. We’ll be trying Equishox shoes on a few of our other horses now and will be hoping for similar results!”

“This is Great Product; I’ve been using them on horse’s involved in the Racing Industry and have found improvement in horses’ movement also the reduced concussion seems to improve hoof quality on horses with brittle or weak feet.”
